Methodology
These figures come from Mogean's monthly refresh: every tracked brand's store locator is re-pulled on its own schedule, and each location is compared against the prior update to classify it as opened, closed, or updated. A location counts as a net open in the month it first appears in an update and a net close in the month it stops appearing across two consecutive updates (avoiding one-off locator hiccups). National and category totals are the sum of every tracked brand's net change for the 2026-07_r11 update; per-brand detail is available on each brand's page.
